In recent times, through the use of awareness products such as wristbands, and celebrities such as Muhammad Ali and Michael J. Fox, people have become more familiar with Parkinson's Disease. While people may have heard about this disease, it is safe to say that the majority of the public do not know much about the disease. In fact, in the United States alone, over 200,000 people a year are diagnosed with the disease that can't be cure.
While Parkinson's Disease does not have a cure, research and development of products that can help treat the symptoms to make everyday life easier for patients. With continued research and development, it is hoped that a cure for Parkinson's Disease can be found someday in the near future.
