Why Nurses are so Important, Strong and Smart
It takes a real special person to be able to be a nurse. This is because being a nurse can be a very emotionally taxing job, especially considering they have to deal with suffering patients and potentially death. To continue, not only is it an emotionally taxing job, but a physically taxing job as well. Their shifts tend to be longer then a normal jobs eight hours and during the long shifts they are moving around and on their feet for the majority of the shift.
On top of the job being very taxing, nurses also have to be very smart and know a lot due to the wide variety of tasks they need to accomplish. Nurses do not just have one or two tasks they need to master. They have what it seems to be a never ending list of tasks so they need to be prepared to take on anything and everything that is thrown their way.
Besides the job itself, nurses have to also be strong because they tend to get the low end of the stick in the health care field in terms of appreciation. This is because people compare them to doctors, which people tend to think doctors do all of the hard work. Even though nurses are doing just as much hard work and potentially even more. Overall, it is not an easy job and it really take someone special to be a nurse.
Nurse Silicone Bracelet
Did someone say silicone bracelet nurse style? Indeed! Rubber silicone wristbands are a perfect piece of jewelry for nurses due to them being very comfortable, soft, inexpensive, etc. They are also great because nurses can customize these wristbands with motivational and inspirational sayings to help them get through those long and hard work shifts. It can act as a reminder every time a nurse looks at the wristband to keep working hard and making other people’s lives better.
Nurse Silicone Wristbands to show Support
Do you know a nurse personally? Or would you like to just show all nurses in general your appreciation? Do so with a custom wristband! You can create a personalized wristband or bands with sayings, logos, names, etc. regarding nurses to show your appreciation. Their jobs as mentioned earlier are not easy and it could potentially make a nurses day to see a person wearing a bracelet in support of them and their profession.
Nursing Shortage Awareness: Wristband Style
To this day in the United States we are in need of 1.1 million nurses due to a nursing shortage all around the country. This shortage is mainly due to the rapid 73% increase of the 65 plus year old population over the past couple of years. Furthermore, things will get even worse if we do not find more nurses because in the next 5 years more than 20% of current nurses are expected to retire which would dramatically add to the shortage.
How we can all do our part to spread awareness about the shortage and promote the nursing profession in general is by also wearing a wristband. Wearing a customizable wristband that is nursing related will build awareness and expose people to the profession. The more the profession and shortage is promoted and talked about the sooner the problem will be resolved.
